Under 16
The Junior Season runs over the winter months with trainings and games held each week. Open to both boys and girls of all skill levels there are multiple age groups and divisions ensuring plenty of time on ice and individual coaching
Bantam (16U)
This age group introduces body checking to the children in a safe environment with techniques on how to properly to deliver and receive a hit. The focus for this age group is individual skill development, team tactics, and an introduction to the High Performance programs.
Season typically runs from April – September with trainings held Thursday evenings and games Sunday late mornings.
Annual National Tournament – De Fris
Peewee (13U)
The largest age group featuring children aged between 10 – 13, still a non-body checking competition the focus for this age group is individual skill development and introduction to game tactics.

Annual National Tournament – Ginsberg
Novice (9U)
The Novice program is a great introduction to ice hockey for children under 10 years old. Players learn valuable skating skills each week and follow on to ice hockey skills throughout the season.
Season typically runs from April – September with trainings held Thursday afternoons and games Sunday mornings.

Ice Blast
Ice Blast is a 6-week fun filled Ice Hockey South Australia run ‘Come-and-Try’ Ice Hockey Program for all potential players (male and female) aged 5 – 12 years of age who are welcome regardless of whether they have skated before. Ice Blast courses are run four times a year and mirrors the school terms so you can pick the Program dates that work best for your family.
All gear is provided for the duration of the course, so Ice Blast is a perfect introduction to the sport of Ice Hockey.
When Do We Play
Winter Season April – October
Trainings are held every Thursday
- 9U: 5pm – 6pm (small ice)
- 13U: 5pm – 6:30pm (large ice)
- 16U: 6:45pm – 7:45pm (large ice)
Games are every Sunday
- 9U: 8am – 9am (large ice)
- 13U: 9:15am – 10:30am (large ice)
- 16U: 10:45am – 12:00pm (large ice)

Registration
Annual membership which runs from March 1st – February 28th, Registrations are done online through Esportdesk
Cost of Registration:
IHSA Junior Player all ages: $50 (GST inclusive) plus either
IHA Junior Player Under 10: $55 (GST inclusive) or
IHA Junior Player Aged 10 – 17: $143 (GST inclusive)
Average Season fee’s per child are between $500 – $650, fee’s depend on the number of registered players.
A second child discount is available.
